Abstract

This is a notebook by Frank Knowlton for the United States Geological Survey consisting of lists of plants present in different localities. Localities include but are not limited to areas within Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. Also present are charts of geologic sections in Colorado with altitudes and a geologic sketch of rock layers. There are typed notes describing different rock layers at certain stations, along with measurements of feet. This item is undated, so a wide approximate range of 1889-1926 is given, that being the years that Knowlton was with the United States Geological Survey.
