PrintIn this volume, A.B. Alexander records field notes during various expeditions from 1 August 1892 to August 1904. Localities include Alaska, the North Pacific Ocean, the Bering Sea, and Hawaii. Notes are from localities at sea and on land; at-sea notes are on board the Albatross and other ships. In addition to date and locality, notes include a variety of information, such as weather, research and travel activities, contact with other ships in the area, observations of marine mammals, and general overviews of catch from fish sampling efforts. It appears that no field numbers are included in the volume.
