Abstract

This field book is a bird specimen catalog by Walter A. Weber from his time on the Weeks African Expedition. Dates are provided, and range from April 28 - July 1, but the final digit in the years has been cut off. A year of 1955 is inferred based on the inferred date of the expedition. Localities include but may not be limited to areas of French Equatorial Africa, or present-day Cameroon and Chad. Dated entries for specimens include common name, sex, and specific locality. Pages are numbered 1-13 and field numbers range from 1-130. A sketched map is also included.
