Abstract

This is volume 6 of a journal by Julian S. Warmbath, documenting his trip to Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Arctic from 1899-1901. This volume ranges from October 4, 1900 - January 12, 1901. Dated daily entries detail hunting and collecting of bird and mammal specimens, as well as weather observations, travel details, daily activity, camp arrangements, and anecdotal stories. Some sketches are also included. This trip sometimes followed Peary's expedition, and there are accounts of finding some of his sites.
