Abstract

This is a field notebook by Margaret O. Sordahl detailing her field work with birds in the southwest African area now known as Namibia from 1929-1931. Dated entries consist of journal-style accounts of hunting, observing, and collecting birds. Field numbers are present with entries, and range from 1-48. Information provided includes sex and specific locality, as well as additional observations of the specimen, surrounding terrain, and collection conditions. Altitudes are often included.
