Abstract

This volume is a catalog of blood samples collected from birds on the Marshall and Gilbert Islands trip in October and November 1964 for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program. Fields include sample number, species, location, and date. Sample numbers span from M1 to M2 and 3 to 120. Most samples were taken on islands of the Marshall Islands; three samples were taken on islands of the Gilbert Islands [Gilbert Group] and six samples were taken along a transect on the Pacific Ocean from 3° 50' N, 178° 09' W to 14° 04' N, 168° 08' W. Species include Sooty Tern and other tern species, Red-footed Booby and other booby species, and others. Samples were also taken from six Polynesian rats.
