Abstract

Consists of a field notebook by George Suckley, with dates ranging from 1853-1856. The first part of this notebook is a daily journal which includes general daily activity and travel information, as well as some casual wildlife observations. These entries range from January to February 1854, and deal mainly with the area of Washington state. The other part of this notebook contains bird specimen lists and expense accounts. There is a specimen list with only species names and collector names, and there is a list organized by species with some dates and additional observation notes.
