Abstract

Consists of a field journal by George Suckley detailing his field work from June 1 - August 8, 1859. Dated entries contain travel accounts and daily activity, as well as observation and collecting notes on birds, fish, mammals, and reptiles. There is also a list of birds collected with dates, localities, sex, egg, and nest information. There are some other specimens lists of eggs and reptiles. Localities include but may not be limited to Kansas, Colorado, Utah, and Nebraska. Some sketches are present.
