Abstract

Consists of a field journal by George Suckley detailing his trip to Panama from December 1855 to May 1856. Dated entries include details of travel and daily activity, such as weather conditions and sea life. Observations and accounts of birds, fish, amphibians, and seashells are included. Some physical measurements and species identification information is provided. There are also some lists of expenses.
