Abstract

William Dall describes sites across Oahu, Hawaii in 1899, while working for the United States Geological Survey. Includes descriptions of marine and geological study of the area. He visits sites with a local Professor Wood from the Territorial Normal School, in Honolulu, familiar with the geology of the area. Includes cross sections of gravel pits southwest of Diamond Head and descriptions of the coral rock strata. Most of the notebook is blank.
