Abstract

Envelope 138 - 147 includes photographs and negatives documenting of Edward A. Chapin's field work and travel in 1941, 1945, and undated. Envelopes are labeled with subject matter, location and sometimes date. Subject matter includes images of Ralph Donohue (with caption and signature), centipede (Okinawa), portrait (unidentified individual) with letter on reverse side, unidentified landscapes (possibly duplicate subject of other images in collection), images of towns, group portraits (unidentified individuals), colleagues, and historic sites. Locations include Chile (1945), possibly sites in South America (?), and unidentified locations.
