Abstract

Envelopes 72 - 85 include images (negatives and photographs) taken by Edward A. Chapin while he completed field work in Jamaica, 1937. Envelopes are labeled with subject matter and location. Subject matter includes vistas of landscapes, harbors, coastline, vegetation (listing type), colleagues' homes, and portraits of colleagues including Blackwelder. Includes images that were used in his field book in collection SIA Acc. 11-085. Locations include Kensworth, Lacovia, Liguanea Plain, Yallahs River, and Hope Gardens [Hope].
