Abstract

Envelopes 6 - 16 are photographs and negatives documenting the field work the travel by Edward A. Chapin in Massachusetts. Several are undated. Includes images of residences, marble quarry, views of woods in Monterey, child (Lucy) with squirrel, detail images of vegetation (bear oak, pinus mugo), childhood home of Edward Chapin's mother, candid family images from 50th anniversary, and images of two publications ("Distribution and list of the water mites of South Africa"; "Description de quelques coccinellides nouvelles").
