Abstract

This folder contains maps and a table compiling hydrographic data from Smithsonian Cruise 91, collected in August 1964. Data were collected on the Pacific Ocean to the south, west, and southwest of Johnston Atoll, within the area approximately bounded by 13° to 17° N and 168° to 174° W. Individual hand-drawn maps plot hydro stations, surface salinity (‰), bucket surface temp. (°C), and bucket temp. (°C) and bucket salinity (‰). Also plotted on these maps are data from Gilbert Cruise #74, collected on the Pacific Ocean around and to the northwest of Hawaii from August 14-22, 1964. The folder includes a photocopy of a table, "Smithsonian Cruises Hydrographic Data," that compiles hydrographic data from Cruise 91. Fields include cruise number, station number, LZT, day, month, year, lat., long., depth in meters, salinity (‰), water temp (°C), and BT station number.
