This folder contains lists, reports, field notes, and a map documenting the vegetation of Enderbury Island [Enderbury Atoll]. Included in the folder are eight pages of handwritten field notes from July 15-17 and November 9-10, 1964 that document plants encountered, collection numbers (1990-2025?), substrate, the placing of numbered posts, and bird species observed. No author name is on the notes, but those dated July 15-17, 1964 may have been recorded by C. R. Long, as the content is very similar to typed notes by C. R. Long also in this folder. Locations of specific plant associations and other features are documented on a map of Enderbury. Pages of one or more report drafts (no author or date) provide a detailed characterization of the vegetation of Enderbury. Photocopies of other documents report on field work activities, plant species collected, and soil samples taken by C. R. Long from July 15-17, 1964. Another document, "July 11 - 17 Enderbury Island - Summary (Taken from notes by Peter Marshall)," is a compilation of field observations of plant species. Also in the folder is a list of "McBee cards from Enderbury."
