Abstract

This is a field catalog of bird specimens collected by Henry Cushier Raven from 1919-1920 in Africa. Dated entries consist of sex, specific locality, species name, and occasional brief additional notes. There are select entries which contain extensive observational notes. Localities include but may not be limited to South Africa, Uganda, and the Congo. Field numbers range from 5058-5625. There are also one page of notes of birds missing, presumably in the USNM, with accompanying field numbers. A number of full-color illustrations by Raven are also present.
