Abstract

This folder contains field notes, extracts from field notes, and correspondence documenting Hawaiian monk seals and turtles on islands of Hawaii. Two notebook pages contain data collected on individual seals on Kure Island. Seventeen index cards record observations of seals and turtles on Kure Island and French Frigate Shoals from 1964 to 1966; the information on the cards appears to be incidental observations compiled primarily from field notes of different researchers, including Paul Woodward, Larry Huber, B. Amerson, and Bob Fleet. Two letters document information on individual seals in Hawaii in 1965.
