Abstract

Pamphlets, commercial maps, diagrams, meeting notes, research notes, field notes, and photographs relating to Whitmore's research in the mid-Atlantic and southern coastal plain and Florida. Field notes consist of lists of mammals, fish, and reptiles from miocene and possibly other periods in North and South Carolina, Alabama, Texas, and Chesapeake Bay. Photographs depict specimens (unidentified; some with measurements), and collecting localities in Indian reservation [probably referring to Indian Prairie Canal] at Harvey Pond Canal in Florida, Kempsville, Virginia, and other locations.
