Abstract

This folder contains a notebook, data sheets, and other documents recording and reporting results of a mongoose trapping and marking program on Mokapu Point on Oahu, Hawaii. According to pages of a report draft included in the folder, the trapping program was initiated because of interest in potential interactions between mongooses and the Red-Footed Booby colony at that location. Data sheets and typed transcriptions of data sheets record trapping data for October 1966 through June 1967. The notebook contains field notes recording trap locations and trapping data for the period January 9 to March 9, 1968. Some data are compiled in tables and the report draft. One hand-drawn map shows trap locations.
