Abstract

Folder containing articles, magazines, clippings, pamphlets, flyers, transparencies, negatives, and photographs dating from 1965-1971 all relating to Whitmore's work in Big Bone Lick, Kentucky. Black-and-white photographs and negatives found at the back of the folder depict specimens and collecting localities from August 1964 and July and August 1966. Images of mastadon tusks, Ellis Crawford collecting mollusks, and other specimens and events are included. Photographs from the Department of the Interior of musk ox skulls (possibly field photos) are also included.
