Abstract

This folder contains reports and lists pertaining to mammals collected during Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program field work or prior field work on Pacific Ocean islands. Included are two reports: "Numbers of Mammals Collected on Southern Island Trips as Indicated by Trip Reports SIC 10-20" compiled by R. B. Clapp, July 28, 1969, and "A Preliminary Report on Terrestrial Mammals on SIC 15" by John H. Fitch. Another document lists numbers of mammal specimens by location and SIC number. Three documents list sets of Mus specimens by field number. Also included in the folder are photocopied pages from a mammal catalogue listing specimens collected from Pacific Ocean islands in 1963, handwritten pages listing mammal specimens collected from Pacific Ocean islands in the 1920s, and a copy of a map of the Hawaiian Islands and nearby islands.
