Abstract

This is a field book by William LaGrange Ralph detailing the sounds of various birds. Names of birds are given accompanied by descriptions of their calls. No years are recorded, but month dates are given for each bird, as well as what appear to be egg descriptions. An undated account of a bird nesting is also included. No localities are specified, but it is inferred that these birds were observed in the United States.
