This folder contains tables and photocopies of data sheets reporting results from the Smithsonian Oceanographic Sorting Center (SOSC) of stomach content analysis for Pacific Oceanographic Biological Survey Program (POBSP) 9, SOSC ref. no. 211. A handwritten table and typewritten transcription list field number, species, date, and location for bird stomachs sent to SOSC. The tables list individuals collected from the Pacific Ocean, islands in the Line Islands, Howland Island, Sand Island of Johnston Atoll, Tongareva Atoll [Penrhyn Atoll], and other Pacific Ocean islands and atolls. Specimens were collected from March 29, 1964 through July 10, 1965. A table with heading "SOSC ref. no. 211 POBSP no. 9" is a compilation of stomach content data from the data sheets. Each data sheet records the stomach contents of an individual bird. Data sheets were completed from May 23 through July 18, 1966. Fields include sta. no., species, SOSC ref. no., POBSP. no., lat. & long., date, time caught, squid, squid beaks, fish, fish remains, parasitic animals, Crustacea, other animals, [notes on] parasitic animals, notes on squid, notes on fish, and general notes.
