This folder contains a portion of the data sheets (approximately 110) reporting the results from the Smithsonian Oceanographic Sorting Center (SOSC) of stomach content analysis for Pacific Ornithological Oceanographic Project (POOP) 3, SOSC acc. no. 70. Each data sheet records the stomach contents of an individual bird. Birds were caught March 4 through June 19, 1964. Stomach contents were recorded in October and November 1964. Bird species include Red-tailed Tropicbird, Black-footed Albatross, Red-footed Booby, Blue-faced Booby, Sooty Tern, gull sp., Pomarine Jaeger, Wedge-tailed Shearwater, petrel sp., Frigate Bird, Bulwer's Petrel, and Blue-gray Noddy. Fields include species, station no., SOSC acc no., lat. & long., date, time caught, direction flying, squid, ceph. beaks, fish, fish remains, crustacea, other animals, parasitic animals, notes on squid, notes on fish, and general notes. Also included is a 3-page table listing each data sheet by field number (= station number), with bird species and date of capture for each.
