Abstract

The collection of black and white photographs were taken by William Mann, when on an entomological collecting trip in Fiji and Solomon Islands as a Sheldon Traveling Scholar. The images are of native people of the islands (portraits and during activities); structures of their villages; and vegetation. There are a few images of land shells and arrow points. Most images include detailed captions written on the back in pencil.
