Abstract

This field book consists of a catalog of birds collected by William Palmer in the Probilof Islands of Alaska from May 18th - August 15th, 1890. Dated entries may include species name, sex, physical dimensions, specimen preparation, and additional observational notes. Field numbers are present and range from 1-911. Additional loose notes are included, and contain bird lists with some USNM numbers written in.
