Abstract

This item contains field notes, specimen lists, and manuscripts from William Palmer, dealing with birds from Hanover and King William County, Virginia from 1892-1894. Some lists are organized by species name and detail nest information. Other numbered handwritten and typed lists species name, common name, and numbers collected or seen. There are manuscript drafts and some sketches included as well. Also present are collection lists of bird specimens and eggs by Henry Aylett.
