Abstract

This field book consists of a list of flora collected in Brazil and Barbados, 1928-1929. Collections were made by L. B. Smith, Americo Augusto Vieira, Moyses Kuhlman, Augusto Gehrt, Dr. F. C. Hoehne, Jose Lemos, and Alexander Curt Brade. The list includes collector numbers 1201 through 3000, though not all numbers have entries. Entries include: collector number, scientific name. Some entries include rough sketches and / or brief physical descriptions. At the back of the book is a list of packages sent, and a chart including information for: week ending; numbers (sheets, labels), ten sheet numbers, bromels numbers. Localities in Brazil include: Federal District, Rio de Janeiro state, Raiz da Serra, and Petropolis.
