Abstract

This item consists of a field journal detailing Alexander Wetmore's field work on birds from 1966-1972. Dated entries consist of accounts of hunting and collecting specimens, as well as behavioral observations, travel details, and daily activity. Localities include but are not limited to Panama, England, the Netherlands Antilles, Turkey, Greece, the Netherlands, Philadelphia, Boston, and Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Field notes from Tortola follow the journal entries, and are generally organized by species. Entries may include date, species name, sex, activities, and specific location observed.
