Abstract

This item consists of a field journal detailing Alexander Wetmore's field work on birds from 1963-1965. Dated entries consist of accounts of hunting and collecting specimens, as well as behavioral observations, travel details, and daily activity. Localities include but are not limited to Panama, including Isla Gobernadora and Isla Cebaco, England, Kenya, Tanzania, and Monaco. Field notes from Panama, Kenya, and Tanzania follow the journal entries, and are generally organized by species. Entries may include date, species name, sex, activities, and specific location observed. Other official or related documents are also present such as passports, programs, tickets, and permits.
