Abstract

This item consists of a field journal detailing Alexander Wetmore's field work on birds, from 1954-1956. Dated entries consist of accounts of hunting and collecting specimens, as well as behavioral observations, travel details, and daily activity. Information on mammals is also present, and some entries contain bird lists. Localities include but are not limited to Panama and South Dakota. Other official or related documents are also present such as passports, tickets, and permits. Some material is in Spanish.
