Abstract

This item consists of a field journal detailing Alexander Wetmore's field work on birds, from 1953-1954. Dated entries consist of accounts of hunting and collecting specimens, as well as behavioral observations, travel details, and daily activity. Some entries also contain bird lists. Localities include but are not limited to Panama, California, Venezuela, Switzerland, Austria, and England. Maps and other official or related documents are also present such as tickets and permits.
