Abstract

This item consists of a field journal detailing Alexander Wetmore's field work on birds, from 1932-1938 with gaps in time. Dated entries consist of accounts of hunting and collecting specimens, as well as behavioral observations, travel details, and daily activity. Localities include but are not limited to the United States, England, Guatemala, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, France, and Switzerland. Maps and numerous other official or related documents are also present such as menus, passports, tickets, and permits.
