Abstract

This item consists of a field journal detailing Alexander Wetmore's field work on birds, from 1927-1931. Dated entries consist of accounts of hunting and collecting specimens, as well as behavioral observations, travel details, and daily activity. Localities include but are not limited to the United States, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Spain. Some entries also contain bird lists, and numerous official or related documents are also present.
