Abstract

This item is a field journal by Alexander Wetmore with daily entries from 1913-1915 and 1925-1955. Entries consist of accounts of hunting and collecting specimens, as well as behavioral observations, travel details, and daily activity. Localities include but are not limited to the United States and Canada, including Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. Entries mainly deal with birds, but there are some accounts of insect collecting as well. Limited maps are also included.
