Abstract

The notebook documents ectoparasites collected by L. W. Robbins from mammal specimens as part of the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project, 1968 - 1970. The notebook lists catalog number (100 - 4043), and records the presence of fleas, mites, ticks, lice; genus of host (sometimes sex); and remarks. Remarks include notes when no parasites are found, color indication (i.e. green, blue, red), parasite location, and additional unidentified information. Locations are not indicated. The list is followed by a page listing bird specimens (B1 through B13) for December 5, 7, 10 and January 14, collected from Eastern Region in Ghana.
