Abstract

This item is a field journal by Alexander Wetmore with daily entries from April 28th to May 15th, 1912. Entries consist of accounts of hunting, trapping, and collecting specimens, as well as behavioral observations, travel details, and daily activity. Entries are from areas in Puerto Rico, such as Salinas, Patillas, and Yabucoa, and deal mainly with birds. Also included are specimen lists organized by date and locality; some are numbered. A dated list of specimen shipments is present, numbered 70-86.
