Entries consist of accounts of hunting, trapping, and collecting specimens, as well as behavioral observations, travel details, and daily activity. Entries are from Alaska and the Aleutian Islands, and deal mainly with birds and mammals. Also included are specimen lists, generally organized by date. Some lists are numbered and may include specific localities and short notes regarding specimens. There is also a July 29th sketch of three Aleutian mountains.
