Abstract

This item is a field journal by Alexander Wetmore with daily entries from April 25th to July 19th, 1911. Entries consist of accounts of hunting, trapping, and collecting specimens, as well as behavioral observations, travel details, and daily activity. Entries are from Alaska and the Aleutian Islands, and deal mainly with birds and mammals. Also included are specimen lists and egg lists, generally organized by date. Some lists are numbered and may include elevations and short notes regarding specimens.
