Abstract

This field book consists of miscellaneous field notes by Alexander Wetmore from 1954-1976. The observations were taken from his home, at 5901 Osceola Road, Montgomery County, Maryland. Entries are generally organized by species and include date and additional notes on observation or collection such as markings, habits, calls, size, and specific area observed. Most of the notes are regarding birds, but there are some observations on other animals, such as chipmunks. A one hour survey on November 28, 1968 is also included with bird tallies.
