Abstract

This field book contains field notes from Kleiman's trip to Brazil from 19 June to 05 July 1990. Notes provide a chronological narrative of Kleiman's activities including her time in Belo Horizonte, observing (animal focals) and conducting playback studies of long calls and long calls with clicks with 4 groups of black lion tamarins in Morro do Diabo, focals with reintroduced groups of golden lion tamarins poco pequeno and cacador at Poco das Antas, training caissara females, and focals and vocalizations on Oco. Also includes notes about stolen Jersey monkeys and playback studies at União Biological Reserve.
