Abstract

This item consists of a list of botanical specimens sent by Joseph H. Simpson to the Department of Agriculture in 1890. Entries list numbers (1 through 78), scientific name, date, collecting locality, and plant habitat. Localities include: Shaw's Point [De Soto Point], Cedar Hammock, Long Boat Key, Palma Sola Bay, Manatee Bay, Willemsberg, Tampa Bay, and possibly others.
