Abstract

This field book contains field notes from Kleiman's trip to Brazil from 15 to 27 March 1990. Field notes document information about the vocals of golden lion tamarins during protocols. Notes also discuss a fire on one of the reserves and critiques financial decrees of Fernando Collor de Mello because of affect on Kleiman's project. A note on the cover provides the following summary the field book content. "Collar takes office / obsession with $. Stolen monkeys problems with Dionisio. Impact of fire. Training Cecilia for census. Encounters among Banana Ouro Pagao and Grupo de Carlos. Visit to CPRJ, nature watch".
