Abstract

Two folders containing black-and-white photographs Bayer took of collecting trips, equipment, and local inhabitants during his trips to Ifaluk [Ifalik] Atoll in the 1950s (probably 1953). Although some of these images depict specimen collecting, most of the images depict the culture of Ifaluk inhabitants.
