Abstract

This workbook was probably kept by M. E. Hale on the International Association for Lichenology South African Foray, 1 - 22 January 1986. The workbook includes printed itinerary and areas for notes. Handwritten notes on collections and travels can be found in the notes sections and on opposing pages of the workbook. Some of the longer notes include date, locality information, and observations of vegetation. Localities include: Swakopmund (Namibia), Laguneberg mountains (Namibia), Cape Cross (Namibia), Skeleton Coast (Namibia), Magoebaskloof (South Africa), Soutpansberg Mountain (South Africa), Treur River (South Africa), Mount Sheba (South Africa), Cape Town (South Africa), Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve (South Africa), and others.
