Abstract

The field catalog documents the mammals collected by L. E. Wyman in Idaho, June 1, 1912 - August 19, 1913. Entries cover USNM catalog number (non consecutive), specimen number (1 - 222), sex, name (scientific), locality (state, town), date, measurements (total length, tail vertebrae, hind foot), and remarks. Remarks include a combination of collecting method, age, habitat, specimen characteristics (including health), specimen condition, elevation / altitude, additional location information (distance from landmarks), terrain and vegetation, quantity and size of embryos. Includes a loose insert attached to catalog. Locations include but not limited to Dickey, Ellis, Elk mountains, Ketchum, Nampa, New Meadows, Patterson, Payette, Tamarack, Weiser, Idaho.
