Abstract

The field catalog documents the mammals collected by Alexander Wetmore in Porto Rico [Puerto Rico], December 26, 1911 - February 21, 1929. Entries cover USNM catalog number, specimen number (730 - 1291), sex, name (scientific name), locality, date, measurements (3 types), and remarks. Remarks include a combination of additional location information (distance from landmarks including caves and churches), specimen preparation, notes on specimen loans, altitude, quantity of embryos, weight, and collector.
