Abstract

Several lists of birds, mammals, fish, and reptiles Palmer observed or collected in Dismal Swamp and Lake Drummond in 1896. Lists use common names of animals. A list of birds by scientific name followed by notes on occurrence is also included. Typed list of fishes collected by Palmer in Lake Drummond, Dismal Swamp [Mill Creek], June 1896, is also included.
