Abstract

The field catalog documents the mammals collected by D. H. Stephenson in Alaska, November 24, 1920 - May 24, 1924. Entries cover some USNM catalog numbers, specimen number (1 - 99), sex, name (scientific), locality, date, measurements (3 types), and remarks. Remarks include a combination of details such as specimen condition, weight, age, method collected, additional location information, whether topotype or type, terrain (i.e. lava bed), abundance / rarity, notes on specimen exchanges, and age. Includes some blank pages. Locations include Amnak Island, Unalaska, Urillia Bay, and Izembek Bay.
