Abstract

Letter from J. J. White to W. H. Dall, dated 18 April 1889. The letter contains an explanation of where most of White's shells were found, and that most were dead when collected. The letter also includes a list of shells with notes on specific locality where the specimen was collected. Most specimens were collected on the ocean beach between Jupiter Inlet and some miles south of Lake Worth Inlet. Other localities are listed. Some occurrence information is also included.
